Fischer joins BiblioMondo

Thomas-Bernd Fischer has joined BiblioMondo as Sales Director for German speaking Europe. He will work out of the Cologne office.  Thomas-Bernd Fischer has had a long career in automation in Europe - starting in 1970 in Eastern Germany.  In 1991, he set up Dynix Germany and sold systems across Europe in Germany, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Hungary. He also was also involved in the project management of many of these sales.

After leaving Dynix he worked with Ex Libris Germany as Vice-President Sales & Marketing, with emphasis on German-speaking Europe and Russia - where his knowledge of the language probably helped him to win the contract for the Russian State Library.

After a brief spell back involved back with epixtech - the corporate successors to Dynix, he has joined BiblioMondo where the Concerto and Portfolio capabilities of supporting MAB, Pica and Unicode to solve European library problems within a modern Web centric architecture is exciting him.  Details of the formation of BiblioMondo from Best-Seller and ALSi - December 2000.
