Web Based Serials managment system: kLibrary v 1.2

September 2000

The take UP of Rowecoms kLibrary service for managing subscriptions from the library desktop has been logarithmic according to Rowecom.  More than 25% of their European subscription business now interface  via kLibrary. Almost 300 French customers and almost 200 British customers are online to RoweCom through this service.

In the latest release (version 1.2) customers managing subscriptions through kLibrary have the following additional functionality: A single user profile can now display orders for individual sub-groups within a client, as well as showing a full client overview. Order periods may now be displayed for the most recent year, as well as for all years.  Claim entry display also offers current year or past year options. Title catalogue listing is now strictly alphabetic by full journal title.

Web statistics reveal that reviewing order history and researching the title catalogue are the most popular features.
