Aldershot : 6th September 2000
The impact of the Libero library management system on the UK market continues with its’
selection by the Careers Advisory Service library at the University of Southampton. The library was looking for a state of the art system that offered a comprehensive range of facilities whilst
providing a high degree of flexibility. “We have multiple campuses so we were looking for a web-based system to allow all our users access to the information we hold. We are looking to
increase the profile of the Careers Service as well as provide a better service to our remote users” said Information Manager Kate Stephenson. “In the world of careers the Internet is
becoming more and more important and the need to be able to catalogue employers by their industrial activity and supply hot links to their sites is becoming crucial”
